Wuhan: How the COVID-19 Outbreak in China Spiraled Out of Control Book Discussion

Hear Dali L. Yang discuss his recently published book, Wuhan: How the COVID-19 Outbreak in China Spiraled Out of Control at the University of Chicago International House, Assembly Hall, on Monday, March 25th at 5 pm.  Professor Yang will be in conversation with Professor John Mark Hansen (Charles L. Hutchinson Distinguished Service Professor, Department of Political Science) and Dr. Renslow Sherer (Department of Medicine–Infectious Diseases and Global Health).  Professor Kenneth Pomeranz (University Professor of Modern Chinese History), will serve as moderator.

The COVID-19 pandemic, which began as an outbreak in Wuhan in late 2019, is of generation-defining significance. In Wuhan: How the COVID-19 Outbreak in China Spiraled Out of Control, Dali L.
